Jonathan Sasson works as a lawyer at the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. He graduated from Dawson College in Liberal Arts and subsequently obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université de Montréal and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Université de Sherbrooke. He is now working on his Master of Laws (LL.M.). Jonathan was previously the Secretary-General of the Montreal United Nations Conference 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. At Université de Montréal, Jonathan was elected President and Head Delegate of the Faculty of Law’s Model United Nations delegation. Jonathan was the Host Team President of Harvard World Model United Nations 2017. Jonathan additionally founded Canadian Model United Nations connecting more than 60 conferences together with thousands of Canadian students.

Alexi Dubois is currently a student at Concordia University, studying journalism with a minor in law & society. Alexi graduated Dawson College’s Law, Society & Justice program just last year. He started his involvement with Model UN back in 2017 during his first year at Dawson. His first ever committee was the International Court of Justice at MUNC 2017. From that moment on, Alexi fell in love with the world of Model UN. He served as president of Dawson College Model United Nations (DCMUN) during his last year at Dawson. Along with others, Alexi helped organize the first edition of the Intercollegiate Crisis Day which was held at Dawson back in March of 2018.

Emanuel Louis is a student at John Abbott College in the Honours Science Program. He began his Model UN journey during his final year at Collège Charlemagne where the Faculty Advisor and his fellow MUN peers inspired him to join the team. While studying science in CÉGEP, Emanuel actively participates in the John Abbott Model UN Club where he further cultivates his passion for politics and debate. Having fulfilled the role of Vice-Chair and Maître de Cérémonie at the JACMUN 2019 Conference, Emanuel participates in various conferences as a JACMUN delegate and will also be fulfilling the role of Chargé d’Affaires for the JACMUN 2020 Conference. You can often find Emanuel stuffing his face with whatever food he finds in front of him. If not, he is often sleeping, spending time with close friends in the JACMUN clubroom or drifting off to the music in his headphones.
Director of DelegatE Relations
Lucie Belzile is currently majoring in Political Science and History at McGill University. Lucie started to get involved in Model UN when she was in her first year of CÉGEP at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf in the International Baccalaureate – History program. There, she competed with the NMUN – Brébeuf delegation and subsequently won several awards both nationally and internationally. Since then, she has participated in thirteen conferences and held a variety of positions at all levels. She has chaired or co-chaired thrice, included twice at MUNC, has been a Coordinator at McMUN 2019 and was the Secretary-General of SimEURO 2017. She looks forward to being back on the Secretariat and to share her profound passion for the sport that is Model UN.

Dotty creator, Thomas’ love for design is only matched by his extroverted personality. He has worked at multiple design agencies and done projects of all kinds, from health campaigns to sporting events. A strong advocate of teamwork, he makes a commitment to being, every day, a vehicle for change. The knowledge he accumulated throughout the years has made him highly mutable, as he never run shorts of ideas!
